A leading technology company are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join their team based in Gloucester. Within this role you will be providing customer support in all aspects of their accounts, products and technical support by phone and email. Customer support is provided on a 24/7 basis, the role will require shift work between 7:30am and 12am midnight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering emails, calls, and online chat in a positive and friendly manner
  • Taking ownership of support requests ensuring they are resolved to the customers’ satisfaction
  • Upselling suitable products based on the customer’s needs
  • Promote and provide support for new products
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our products, hosting technologies and our competitors
  • Working to targets to achieve SLA’s
  • Basic account management responsibility for an assigned group of customers

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent customer service and active listening skills across several channels i.e. phone/email etc.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate complex, sometimes technical ideas clearly
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Financial Analyst your key duties will include:

  • Delivering insightful analysis and making data-driven recommendations to support business strategy and commercial decision-making.
  • Delivering timely and accurate budgets and forecasts of revenue & KPIs.
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders across a variety of departments to provide analysis and relevant support when required.
  • Communicating and reporting KPIs to the wider business including senior management
  • Producing reports that fulfil stakeholder requirements and to further enhance BI offering
  • Working with Business Intelligence Managers to develop new and existing data sources and transform these into BI
  • Ensure operational sales targets are set appropriately and performance is accurately tracked

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the role of Financial Analyst, you must have:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant
  • Previous experience working as part of an FP&A team, or in a similar role
  • Prior experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in using SQL queries (or similar) to extract data
  • Experience in using PowerBI or similar tools to deliver visual reports/dashboards is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, business, or related field. Master’s degree a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English is required (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience managing a solution-based product portfolio – vision, proposition development, launch and lifecycle management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of one of the following sectors; education, training, professional qualifications (e.g. ACA / CIPD etc.), accreditation will be a plus
  • Familiarity with all elements of product management from discovery to delivery

  • 10 years of professional experience in leading international functions with focus on marketing & digital research analysis, ecommerce, recognizing local culture and business etiquette
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MBA desirable
  • Prior leadership experience including structuring and developing growing teams
  • Experience in developing and implementing digital strategies with a proven ability to leverage research and analysis to drive judicious direction, best practices and process improvements
  • International experience, including familiarity with markets, audiences and trends
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
