MEDICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – CLINICAL BACKGROUND

South East – Field Based (4 days per week)
£55,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you a Nurse, ODP, Radiographer or healthcare professional with some commercial or sales experience, looking to take the next step?

 

Our healthcare client is looking for a Medical Sales Representative to develop and grow their Southeast region. This is a great opportunity to combine your clinical knowledge with your developing commercial skills.

 

We're looking for someone who understands the clinical environment, enjoys building relationships and is motivated to develop a career in medical sales.

 

The role is approximately 50% account development and 50% new business, with 4 days per week spent visiting NHS customers and healthcare professionals across the region.

 

The Role

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS customers, clinicians, KOLs and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Use your clinical knowledge to understand customer needs and identify appropriate solutions.
• Work alongside product specialists to support customers and drive growth.
• Deliver product presentations and clinical discussions.
• Manage opportunities through to negotiation, tenders and contract renewals.
• Build knowledge of your territory, market trends, competitors and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate reporting while working within company and industry compliance requirements.

 

About You

We're particularly interested in hearing from Nurses, ODPs, Radiographers and similar healthcare professionals who are considering a move into a commercial role.

 

You'll ideally have:

• A clinical background in nursing, radiography, ODP or a similar discipline.
• Some experience in a commercial, customer-facing or sales environment – this doesn't need to be extensive.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to understand and communicate clinical information effectively.
• A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
• An interest in developing a career within medical sales and account management.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A life science/business degree would be desirable but is not essential.
